group coaching

Beyond one-to-one coaching, I also work with groups through workshops, group coaching, and as a facilitator for organisations who want the same honest, pressure-free conversation built into their own teams and events.

Goal Getters

Goal Getters is a relaxed, engaging and energising in‑person workshop designed to help you get crystal‑clear on your goals for the next six to twelve months. Whether you’re setting goals for the first time or refreshing existing ones, this supportive session is open to anyone aged 16 and over.

We begin with a warm‑up game to help you get to know the other people in the group, before moving into a solo exercise using the Wheel of Life to explore where you are right now and where you want to be. You’ll then pair up to share insights and reflect together, followed by a group conversation that brings everyone’s ideas into the room.

To finish, you’ll map out the steps you’ll take towards your goals, create a simple mantra to keep you motivated, and outline key actions that help you stay accountable and focused.

what to expect

Together in a small group of up to 8 people we will refresh or create your goals for the next 6 to 12 months:

  • Look with clarity and honesty at how things are going
  • Set meaningful goals or adapt your current ones
  • Think and plan the actionable steps to get you there

Whether you are reflecting on your career, personal growth, or life direction, this session will empower you to define your pace, your path, and your next chapter.

Group Facilitation

This service is ideal for organisations and teams looking to run workshops, team-building sessions, decision-making discussions or goal-setting activities that are engaging, structured and genuinely productive. Sessions are relaxed but purposeful, ensuring every participant feels included, energised and able to contribute fully, so your team leaves with real clarity and momentum, not just another meeting.

What I Facilitate

  • Workshops – interactive sessions designed to spark insight, reflection and action.
  • Group Discussions – guided conversations that help people share perspectives and build understanding.
  • Decision‑Making Sessions – supporting groups to evaluate options, build consensus and agree next steps.
  • Team‑Building Activities – strengthening relationships, trust and collaboration.
  • Creative Facilitation – using imaginative tools to unlock new ideas and fresh thinking.
  • Goal‑Setting & Strategic Sessions – helping individuals or groups define priorities and create clear, achievable plans.

Exercises I Use

Sessions are practical, enjoyable and designed to help people open up, reflect and take action. Depending on the group and the purpose, I use tools such as:

  • Icebreaker Questions: simple prompts that help people get to know each other and feel at ease.
  • Wheel of Life: a reflective tool to explore balance, satisfaction and priorities.
  • Pair‑Share: one‑to‑one conversations that build confidence before sharing with the group.
  • Group Brainstorming: generating ideas together using sticky notes, flipcharts or guided prompts.
  • Mantra Creation: crafting a short phrase that anchors people to their intention or goal.
  • Action Mapping: breaking goals into clear, manageable and accountable steps.
  • Future Self Visualisation: imagining life 6 – 12 months ahead to inspire clarity and motivation.
  • Commitment Circles: each person shares one action they will take next.
  • Reflection Cards: prompts that encourage deeper thinking and meaningful conversation.

Group coaching

Group coaching offers a supportive and energising environment in which individuals can grow together through shared insight and meaningful conversation. It is designed for those who benefit from learning alongside others, gaining new perspectives and drawing motivation from a group setting.

Sessions are typically delivered through Group Reflection Circles, a coaching format that encourages participants to pause, reflect and learn from one another’s experiences. Using tools such as the Wheel of Life, values exploration, conversation cards and future self visualisation, participants are guided to identify what matters most to them, shift their perspective and define practical, achievable next steps. The approach combines structure with warmth, helping participants feel heard, connected and motivated, ensuring each session leads to greater clarity, confidence and real momentum.

CAN YOU COMBINE GROUP COACHING AND FACILITATION IN ONE SESSION?

Yes. My Goal Getters workshop is a strong example of how group coaching and facilitation can be combined within a single session. As facilitator, I guide participants through structured exercises, including the Wheel of Life and reflective conversation cards, to help them assess their current situation, clarify personal goals and engage in meaningful dialogue with a partner.

The session structure is facilitative in nature: interactive, inclusive and designed to bring the group together, while the tools used draw on coaching methodology to encourage individual insight and practical action-planning. This combined approach creates a supportive and energising environment in which participants can connect with others, reflect on their goals and leave with clear, achievable next steps.

CAN YOU GIVE AN EXAMPLE OF YOUR FACILITATION WORK?

A key example of my facilitation work is the Goal Getters workshop, in which I use tools such as the Wheel of Life and conversation cards to guide participants in identifying their personal goals. Through a combination of solo reflection, partner discussions and group sharing, participants explore what matters most to them and define practical, achievable steps towards those goals. This workshop reflects my facilitation approach more broadly: supportive, engaging and focused on helping participants move forward with clarity and confidence.

HOW MUCH DO GROUP COACHING AND GROUP FACILITATION COST?

In line with my one-to-one coaching services, both group coaching and group facilitation are offered across three pricing tiers, with an additional pro-bono option available for those who need it most. Fees are agreed during an initial discovery call to ensure the support provided is both accessible and appropriate to each group’s needs. Sessions are available to individuals aged 16 and over.

One of the very best coaches I’ve ever met! Working with Martha has been a truly transformative experience. She listens so deeply and reflects back my own words with such clarity that I often heard myself in a new way. She explains things with great insight and power, while keeping everything structured and systematic something I value highly.

We started working together in April, and over these months she not only motivated me but also helped me stay accountable. Thanks to our work, I was able to hear myself more clearly, follow what is truly important to me, and even admission to a Master’s program at the University of Edinburgh.

What I appreciated most was how Martha’s thoughtful questions, drawn from what I shared, guided me to my own answers and built my confidence step by step. She is an incredible coach, the best I have ever worked with. I am deeply grateful for these six months of working together!
